@freespiritny25, I agree. As a PR/marketing consultant, people and companies use all kinds of methods to draw attention to themselves. I don't understand this part:
a National Security Letter demanding customer information is prohibited from disclosing the fact that it received such a letter.
Why wouldn't they be able to say they got the letter? Because the admission would initiate media research into the matter?
