re: Nokia Intros Lumia 710, Its First U.S. Windows Phone
It appears that Nokia is "easing in" to the WP7 market where their competitiors (iOS, Android) are already entrenched and moving on to their next generation products. I'm not so sure that introducing a low end device is a good opening strategy for the Nokia/MS venture. It's one of the reasons I think that the other MS hardware partners have not had much success to date. Everyone wants a phone with features. Not some entry level product.
I've been waiting on my next phone purchase because I really want a high end device that will compete against the iOS and Android offerings. If it doesn't materialize soon, I may just ditch any hope that they ever will become competitive.
If Nokia/MS really want to compete against the iPhone and Galaxy (et. al) devices then they better bring it... and bring it soon.
