Videoconferencing is experiencing a boom in 2008, and at Frost & Sullivan, we expect the trend to continue in 2009 and beyond. Our latest research shows that revenues for the videoconferencing infrastructure systems market in the Americas region reached about $137.3 million in 2007, growing by a robust 17.9 percent over 2006.After seeing relatively modest growth rates for several years, the videoconferencing infrastructure systems market is now showing extremely healthy growth, and we expect the market to sustain that momentum. Frost & Sullivan forecasts a CAGR of 19 percent (2007-2014) for the videoconferencing infrastructure systems market. Endpoint revenues will grow, too, especially as companies look to deploy a range of new high definition, telepresence and desktop options to their employees.
