User Exodus Ails AT&T

AT&T may want to rethink spinning off its broadband operations to Comcast.

The company last week said overall revenue fell $1.6 billion during the third quarter. It blamed the drop on customer migration to digital services such as wireless and Internet access. The flip side: AT&T posted a gain in revenue from broadband services--up 8.2% to $2.5 billion, one of the few bright spots on its balance sheet.
