We're delighted to announce the 100 companies who made the cut as finalists for the 2016 InformationWeek Elite 100. Which of these finalists will be named No. 1? Which ones will land in the Top 10? Who will win Best in Show for Innovation? Mobility? Agility? Analytics?

To find out, you'll have to join us at the 2016 InformationWeek Elite 100 Conference at the Four Seasons in Las Vegas May 2-3. The rankings of the 100 best-in-class organizations will be unveiled at an awards gala during the annual InformationWeek Elite 100 Conference, a two-day executive-level event.

The theme for the 2016 conference is "How to Build a World-Class IT Enterprise -- A Celebration of the InformationWeek Elite 100." At the event, we'll also reveal our first-ever Decade Award winners -- the 10 companies that have ranked the highest on average in the InformationWeek Elite 100 over the past 10 years. To see who's in the running for the big wins, check out the alphabetized list of 2016 Elite 100 finalists here.

The select list of 2016 Elite 100 finalists was chosen by the editors of InformationWeek from among hundreds of applicants. The InformationWeek Elite 100 tracks the IT practices of the nation's most innovative organizations and examines the business practices of these firms across core areas of operations, including technology deployment, IT budgets, business technology infrastructure, and strategies. Open to enterprises with $250 million or more in annual revenue, as well as government agencies, the 2016 Elite 100 represents InformationWeek's 28th year ranking the country's most tech-savvy user companies.

"We're very excited to announce our list of finalists ahead of the conference for the first time in the 28 years InformationWeek has been ranking these stalwart companies," said Brian Gillooly, InformationWeek Elite 100 Conference Co-chair and VP of Event Content & Strategy for UBM Americas.

"By doing so, we’re able to properly recognize the achievements of these companies as we build up to the unveiling of the rankings themselves. We'll also be honoring companies in a variety of categories, such as Best Use of Analytics, Best Use of Mobile, and much more. And for the first time, we'll be recognizing our Decade Award winners – the 10 companies that have consistently ranked the highest in our list over the past decade."

Register here to join the celebration, learn which companies make the final cut for the top 10, and find out where the rest of this esteemed group is ranked. At the conference, in addition to unveiling the ranking of this year's Elite 100 companies, we'll also honor winners in categories such as:

  • Most Innovative

  • Best Use of Mobility

  • Best Use of Analytics

  • Best New Tech-Enabled Product

  • Best in Customer Service

  • Best in Workforce Productivity

This year, we're also honoring those who have worked to advance the cause of Women in IT; the most impactful person in IT under the age of 30; our IT Hero; and our Editors' Choice winner for outstanding contributions to IT.

The 2016 InformationWeek Elite 100 Conference is a celebration and so much more. We're delivering a jam-packed conference agenda that includes keynote sessions with Stanford professor and author Vivek Wadhwa and Baidu AI Lab Director Adam Coates.

We'll also feature speakers from Pfizer, Jet Propulsion Laboratories, FedEx Ground & Freight Systems, and La Quinta Inns, among others. Throughout the two-day conference, you'll have the opportunity to network with and learn from CIOs and IT leaders from across a variety of industries, all of whom are tackling the most pressing challenges facing IT in 2016.
