NetSuite Upgrades On-Demand Features for Services Companies, Wholesalers, Distributors

The software as a service offerings make it possible for services companies to manage entire project lifecycles, and for wholesalers and distributors to mange core business functions.

NetSuite has added capabilities to its software-as-a-service offerings for services firms and wholesale/distribution companies.

For consulting and professional services companies, the new features make it possible to manage the entire project lifecycle, including clients, projects, billing and entire business operations. For wholesale and distribution companies, the latest upgrade makes it easier to manage core business functions, such as from lead generation to sales orders, and from warehouse and inventory management in multiple locations to shipping.

New features in NetSuite Services Company Edition Version 2007.0 include project revenue forecasting, cost allocation to projects, contractor self-service portal for time entry, improved project management and flexible project profitability reporting, time and expense custom workflows and routing, and streamlined time and expense entry. Pricing for the new offerings starts at $999 per month for the base suite and $99 per user per month.

New features in NetSuite Wholesale/Distribution Edition Version 2007.0 include a transaction forms assistant, a matrix item assistant, vendor returns, FedEx shipping to Canada, and enhancements around order management, warehouse operations and fulfillment. Pricing for the Wholesale/Distribution Edition is the same as for the Services Company Edition.
