Analytics to shore up Facebook's less-than-robust offerings are key; I wonder, though, if having to get Facebook users' permission will end up being a self-selecting practice. I think the most careful, and likely most savvy, Facebook users aren't swayed by a coupon, badge, etc. I guess it depends on the product/organization.
