Harmony Information Systems said Tuesday it has agreed to integrate LogiXML's business intelligence platform into Harmony's software for social service organizations.

The Logi 8 BI reporting and analysis platform includes dashboards with customizable charts and graphs that would be incorporated in Harmony software.

Business software vendors, such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft, have been adding analytics to products to meet customer demands for tightly integrated BI capabilities.

Harmony software helps automate processes for a variety of social service agencies and nonprofit groups involved in child welfare, behavioral healthcare, juvenile justice, substance abuse, childcare, and special education. "We see an opportunity to instantly enhance the value of our product by integrating BI capabilities developed by LogiXML into our product line,” Tonya Harmon, president and chief executive for Harmony, said in a statement.
