Cox Communications Gets Operational Intelligence

Everstream to deploy data collection, reporting, and real-time analytics solutions to Cox Communications' on demand markets.

Everstream, Inc., provider of enterprise software for the on-demand television industry, announced today that Cox Communications will deploy Everstream's Data Suite and Operational Intelligence (OI) software to its On Demand markets. The enterprise agreement provides a license for all of Cox Communications' existing and future video on demand (VOD) subscribers.

"By leveraging Everstream's technology, Cox will be able to normalize data from all of our vendor platforms and make it immediately available to our business and operational users," stated Steve Necessary, vice president of video product development for Cox. "Everstream's platform and applications will enable us to understand usage and growth trends from the past to predict capacity planning, as well as provide timely, standardized information and feedback to content partners and advertisers."

Everstream's EVP and CTO Charlie Lougheed added, "We're proud to be an integral part of Cox's strategy to leverage its wealth of usage and operational data to measure and extend its interactive services. It's exciting to see our existing deployments at Cox expand to generate additional value for Cox."

Everstream's S4 Data Suite provides enterprise collection, transformation, and warehousing of interactive data. Everstream's S4 OI provides product operation and engineering leaders with crucial insight into service performance and subscriber experience for digital services such as video on demand. S4 OI enables clear and concise roll-up of metrics and trends, with the ability to apply and track organization-wide targets through easy-to-use scorecards and dashboards.
