Contextware Announces Release of Version 2.4

New version offers more ways to improve enterprise productivity.

Contextware, Inc., provider of software solutions for enterprise productivity, today announced the release of Contextware OS version 2.4, the latest version of its software platform.

The Contextware OS platform helps enterprises capture, organize, distribute and operate more effectively around knowledge-rich business processes, policies and procedures, content and resources.

“Of particular note in this release is our Contextware Anywhere feature, which gives customers a powerful capability to connect directly from their existing web-accessible applications to Contextware. For example, employees can be working in their document management, CRM or accounting system on another part of the network or on the Internet, and from there they can instantly jump into Contextware, review the business procedures and tasks relevant to the work they are doing, then jump back into the application they came from,” noted David Ian Forbes, CEO of Contextware. “This help-on-steroids is just more one way in which we continue to deliver on our vision of real-time learning and access to information in the enterprise workplace.”

Additional features of this release include the ability to bookmark process information, enhanced user administration along with expanded user security and improved authoring capabilities.
