Contributing to the problem
Grateful to see the author mention the real problem with email: Unwanted or useless email continues to be a major problem for many US businesses and their employees.
Adding more, albeit shorter, email to the mix is still adding the onslaught of email coming in every day. This may make quick messages more convenient for the sender, but I fear it is taking an already overused and contextless communication tool and increasing the frequency while also further reducing contextual components. For me, I think this would communication suffer rather than improve.
