PeopleSoft Integrates Apps

PeopleSoft Inc. has completed integration of several of its applications and those of J.D. Edwards & Co., just four months after completing the $1.8 billion acquisition of the enterprise-resource-planning vendor. Last week, PeopleSoft began marketing integration packs between order and inventory-management apps, sourcing and procurement apps, human-resources and financial-management apps, general-ledger apps, and capital-asset management and financial-management apps. Says Rick Bergquist, chief technology officer at PeopleSoft: "This is a proof point that we've gotten our teams together.''
