Yesterday I predicted that someone would create a hack that would put Android on an iPhone. Well, this isn't quite a match, but it looks close enough. Is this Android running on an iPod Touch?Unfortunately, it's not. But it is a slideshow of an iPod Touch owner showing what Android applications might look like on a Touch.

Check out the photos and tell me what you think. Personally, I think Android looks pretty good on the Touch's screen (at least in these pics). Chris Davies at Apple Touch doesn't think Android is glitzy enough:

"Comparing Apple UI to Android, it has to be said that Cupertino's efforts look slicker; Android, at least in these preliminary images, is a little too Sidekick for my liking."

What do you think? How long will it take a hacker to put Android on either an iPod Touch or an iPhone? And would you want Android on your iPhone?
