New smartphones and convertible tablets from Toshiba, Acer, ZTE, and Huawei were on display at CES. Here is a roundup of the devices that caught our eye.

Huawei Mate 8
Huawei brought a few new mobile devices to CES, including its Mate 8 smartphone. Its flagship phone has a quad-HD display measuring 6 inches -- large enough to run two apps in separate windows on the same screen.
The Mate 8 runs on Huawei's Kirin 950 processor. It comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor, Sony's 16MP IMX298 camera sensor, and an 8MP user-facing camera. Its 4,000 mAh battery can soak up a full day's charge in about 30 minutes.
Unfortunately, Huawei has not confirmed its Mate 8 will reach the US, but American customers may be more interested in the new GX8. Huawei's second new smartphone has a 5.5-in HD screen, a 3,000 mAh battery, a Snapdragon 615 processor, and a fingerprint sensor.
The GX8 will be sold online in Q1 2016 for $350. It can be used on AT&T and T-Mobile.

RMB 3,500 for a Letv Max Pro
I watched a video and I read about the specs of the Letv Max Pro. It's a very beautiful and powerful phone. Being the first with the 820, it's certainly a phone to consider. But I also read that it will cost around $500 in China. Probably more in the US. So, I think I'll pass.
