Full Details Of Nokia's E75 Spill Out

Spy shots of the newest E series device from Nokia were first seen way back in September. Today, mobile phone retailer Expansys published the full spec list of the upcoming phone. The E75 features a regular number pad for dialing numbers on the front, but also slides sideways to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard for composing e-mail, SMS, and IM messages. It features a full array of messaging applications, and has nearly every base covered when it comes to e-mail and multimedia support.

The E75 runs Symbian S60 version 3, though Expansys doesn't say which Feature Pack will be included. It would be surprising if it runs anything other than Feature Pack 2. Other productivity software on board includes Office Document Viewer (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); PDF Document Viewer; Nokia Maps; and a ZIP File Manager.

It will work on GSM networks worldwide, but, according to Expansys, will only be able to use 3G networks in Asia and Europe. (Hopefully a U.S. variant is in the works.) Other radios contained in the E75 are Wi-Fi, aGPS, FM with RDS and stereo Bluetooth.

When it comes to multimedia, the E75 does a pretty good job. It has a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, and it can record video at 30 frames per second. It supports microSD cards for expanded storage, and will have a full 3.5-mm headset jack, meaning it will work with most standard stereo headphones.

Nokia hasn't officially announced this device, but it will probably make an appearance at next week's Mobile World Congress.
