Yep. Mobile phones sure are popular these days. If you want proof, look no further than a shiny new piece of hardware announced by none other than Playboy. If you want hot, sexy mobile phone action, here it is in all its scantily clad glory.I really did a double take this afternoon when walking through the North Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center. One of the larger booths in the hall was the Playboy booth, which was staffed by genuine booth bunnies.

Aside from strutting their stuff on a makeshift runway, Playboy (OK, and manufacturer Alcatel, too) were there to unveil its latest fashion statement, the Playboy phone.

The phone itself is a pretty straightforward bar-style phone, but it is all glammed up. Bright, shiny surfaces (that could act as makeshift mirrors) and golden accents abound. And of course, the Playboy Bunny logo is right in the middle of the navigational controls and also serves as the phone's default wallpaper.

As for specs, this phone is no slouch. It packs a tri-band GSM radio that will be sold unlocked for $190. It has a 1.3-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, and a microSD slot for storing media.

The golden keypad and etched metal back plate of the phone make it an attractive buy. It fits in perfectly with the beauty-is-only-skin-deep mantra that Las Vegas lives by.

Enough with my words, watch the video right here:
