Microsoft Updates Office 2004 For The Mac

The update fixes security problems and other issues.

Microsoft has shipped an update that fixes security problems and other issues in the Mac version of Office 2004.

Update 11.3.0 fixes vulnerabilities that could let an attacker overwrite the contents of the Apple computer's memory with malicious code.

The patches also corrects a Word problem that causes some document properties to be lost, if the documents contains a large number of properties, such as more than 55 headings. The patches also fix a flaw that causes text typed after a non-breaking space to change unexpectedly to Times New Roman font.

In PowerPoint 2004, the update fixes a problem that removed hyperlinks and action settings when the presentation was opened in PowerPoint after installing the Office 2004 11.2.6 update.
