@Lisa The touching refers to not having to touch monitors with x rays, CAT scans, 3D images of the patient while in surgery but still having the ability to dynamically rotate, zoom and pan to get to the information the surgeon may need while in the OR.

I was right there with them on this technology until they got to... "they can check information on the patient without touching anything, and in this way they can avoid the risk of bacterial infection." OK, I know bacterial infections in the OR is a major problem, but isn't part of patient care in surgery anyway, actually touching the patient?
