re: BlackBerry Q10 Fails To Entice Buyers
Eric, this is a dead horse. Large companies and government agencies won't support Blackberry for much longer. Indeed, many have already stopped supporting them, and most that do, only support BB7.
A reason given for moving from Blackberry was given, a year ago, by a couple of US government agencies, and it's also a reason why companies are dropping support. The reason is that they aren't sure just how much longer Blackberry will be around. They don't want to commit to this if the company isn't viable over the long term.
Despite what consumers think, and we see that reaction from many Blackberry fans who post on the sites, it isn't as simple as buying the phones and using them. There is a lot of support involved, as you know, and as you should mention. I rarely see this spoken of in articles about Blackberry, even when they talk about how the Blackberry is being abandoned by large entities. It should be, as it's of prime importance.
Even of the phones and OS are the best available, if consumers aren't buying them, and so sales are foundering, as they are, large entities won't touch them. It makes sense.
