I think that technology (or the lack thereof) in their respective areas are why their jobs will always be valuable. Until a robot is available that can independently come out to a home or business do their work efficiently, plumbers and electricians will always be the MVP of skilled work force. It is just too physically demanding at this point, not to mention the subjective nature of decision making.
Anyone else have thoughts on technology in these areas?
