Google better than Verizon at Fiber Deployment
Why would the team that does some amazing stuff at google think their deployment would not have the same results and issues as Verizon? Deployment got way to costly bringing fiber to the house for the communications powerhouse. I honestly expected them to run the fiber into the neighborhood then have powerful wireless technology take over. Individuals would not get the fiber speed as soon I know. However, think of the numbers that would benefit from solid Internet Service. With that technology in place, it would hasten wireless technologies in the pipleline to delivery even faster speeds.

Plan A, Plan B
Ok, so Plan A didn't work, they are moving to Plan B. They can afford it, but is it good planning? Wiring is a hard area to do right, and to get into. Hence the companies which are in it are staying in, and are getting very rich.

Fiber speeds
Even if the roll out isn't fast, the speed of the internet is ridiculous. In my local area 60Mbps is impressive, so to look at the near gigabit per second speeds Google offers leaves me just envious.
