Parking Issues
"30% cause of parking congestion " When the tech is ready I can see people having the car drop them off and summoning the car when a pick up is needed. This would be a game changer.

Security must be paramount
Although all of this tech is exciting, I'm worried about security. Car companies have shown themselves to be woefully underequipped to combat security issues as they make their systems more connected. If we start looking to link up homes and cars that's fine, as long as people respect the potential for hackers to invade our lives.

Two or three factor authentication should be mandatory and new, password free seucrity systems need to be explored.

car services
car companies are exploring transportation alternatives like car sharing services

Interesting. I wonder what this means? Car companies going into the business of car sharing? That, I think, would require an adjustment in culture thought.
