Self service
I think the biggest trend for 2016 will be the move towards self service. We are finally seeing a level of maturity needed for big data to progress. It's going to take self service - and open exploration - for this tool to take the next evolutionary step. Peter Fretty, IDG blogger for SAS

--Interesting. Just before the dotcom bubble burst decades ago, Peadpod was the example. Their bubble burst, they reinvented themselves, and now they are successful with multiple competitors.
