Modular vs. I can't change the battery
Google's modular smart phone is a good idea. You should be able to replace components yourself and add new ones or upgraded replacements. And when you go abroad, it should be a no-brainer to plug in a new module that operates in the new market. The trend of not being able to replace the battery in your own phone must be reversed.

AR and Ara
I'm intrigued with the AR trend. Imagine it in a museum setting. You could learn about the history and artists and time periods of whatever piece you are interested in.

I am also interested in Project Ara. The ability to change out the display screen when it smashes to the ground because you forgot you had it in your pocket or customize your phone for your needs sounds like an exciting breakthrough in smartphones.

Project Ara
I am really interested in Google's Project Ara - the smartphone should be a pure DIY stuff - just like what we have done in old days for desktop. It should be highly customized. Would the compatibility become a concern here?
