Re: Planet Pops
Brian,

I wonder if those shop that sell hard candy get rid of the candy after a year, or put the candies on sale, something I have never seen, have you?

Sonic screwdriver and Tardis
David,

No Doctor Who's sonic screwdriver? Or Tardis? I'd love to have a Tardis as a tea box and a sonic screwdriver for the loose tea, you know, to make the tea in the tea cup. :D

Re: Planet Pops
Agreed, as consumables the price of the planets seems a little high but, as collectibles the price is not too high. Also, the National Confectioners Association recommends that hard candy (lollipops, roll candy and butterscotch, etc.) can be stored for about a year. I think it would be fair to assume that during extended periods, there would be a danger that an individual decides to consume it post shelf life.

Re: Planet Pops
I think the aquarium and plant combo.  Kids will love to be able to have a pet while at the same understand how nature works.  Maintaining both plant and fish will focus their attention before they can move to higher maintenance animails like dogs.

Re: Planet Pops
@David, yes, I suppose you can even hang them on the tree in place of the usual balls.

Re: Planet Pops
@areilla- I guess so. $3 per pop is more than your average sucker. I think mostly people who buy these use them for decoration.

Re: Planet Pops
@David the lollipops do look amazing, though very pricey for something that would be consumed.

Re: Planet Pops
@jastroff- I guess it depends on what you mean as real. They aren't real planets. :)

But they are real lollipops. The pictures are printed and one side of the pop is black so that the pictured side stands out.
