Re: Upgrades: When We Microsoft Get This Down ?
We just got some news from Microsoft on this; and i will have an update on the story tommorrow

Basically, they put it all back. You should now (as of late afternoon EST) be able to use the MCT and get the November update like before.

Re: Upgrades: When We Microsoft Get This Down ?
Even if it is two upgrades and not one. Even if it requires more time... Even then the free upgrade to Windows 10 should be worth it.

Upgrades: When We Microsoft Get This Down ?

"...Not only that, Windows 7 or 8.1 users wanting to upgrade to Windows 10 must now go through a two-step process. They first need to download and upgrade to the July 29 version of Windows 10, and then download and upgrade to the just released version."

As one who is a member of this windows 8.1 group, I was setting aside time for this upgrade, now it looks like I need to set aside even more time.

I thought MS was getting better at this ?  Oh well, maybe if I wait long enough, someone will figure out how to make these two upgrades - just one again.

Maybe.
