The power of free

This is also the first time in my recollection Microsoft aggressively offered users a free upgrade to 10. I did accept the free offer but I have not upgraded as of ye because I wanted to assure the bugs were out and the appropriate patches were applied as they reached critical mass. I do think it was the best plan to get adoption and positive press. I am glad to hear that those using it are not experiencing a lot of issues.

Updates
"Dulaney also noted that updates would be more frequent, more incremental, and less obvious to the end-use"

I think this is where the major leap is going to be. Microsoft has claimed that there will be no future versions coming up for Win 10. All the improvement in the OS is going to take place via the updates and users will have to download them from time to time. This implies that MS is expecting that no workstation will ever work in an offline setting and will have internet connectivity of some sort.

"Are there any enterprise that have fully adopted windows tablets for their industry, I would like to hear their feedback."

@Pedro: My organization has upgraded to Windows 10 on the individual workstations and laptops and so far the response is pretty good. While some of the applications (e.g. VPN connectivity) is not yet functional, the overall experience is quite good. I wonder how it'll be like when the upgrade takes place on the server side.

Windows moving into the future.
I think Microsoft learned from their mistakes and set the foundation for future updates.  There both enterprise and people feel comfortable using new windows that will have plenty of support and allow for their old programs to work appropriately;specially, where the enterprise and supporting Windows mobile devices more than before.  I met two people whom gotten surface and they love this product.  Are there any enterprise that have fully adopted windows tablets for their industry, I would like to hear their feedback.
