Re: Product Cycle Dizzyness
It even puts the 6 to shame. It's a shame on me that I bought the 6 and now I am regretting it because I knew the S would be better, but I did not expect it to be leagues better than the 6.

Apple did a great job by ensuring they get a thin crowd at any time of the day. And considering they sold 13 million handsets I am not sure if people are losing interest over the phones. Maybe in the long run, but first week sales prove otherwise.

Agree, I didn't purchase mine yet, but from what I've seen from those who have, it puts the 5 to shame in comparison and I'm not willing to "miss out" any longer.

@vnewman2, 13 million sales this past weekend are mostly from people like you, 4 and 5 variety hold outs.  There are probably still another 20 million plus in the US market that should upgrade to a 6S.  I'm betting the 6S will be Apples most popular iPhone as all the older iPhones are ready for an upgrade.

@DDurbin1 - I don't disagree with your sentiments, although I'm guessing a lot of these purchases are people who have shattered screens on the 6 and weren't about to buy a replacement and already be a step behind the game.  That and people like me who have held on to the 5 despite the battery draining over the span of a few hours...I can't take it anymore.

Product Cycle Dizzyness
It's been less than a year since the iPhone 6 hit the shelves. Most haven't completed their contracts from last years iPhone 6 purchase.  There is nothting about hte iPhone 6S to warrant renewing a contract early.  Same if puchased out right.  Samsung's Galaxy S6 and Note 5 are in the same boat over last year's Galaxy 6 or Note 4.
