re: Will InboundWriter Make Me A Better Blogger?
Just wanted to chime in from an InboundWriter perspective.

Our desire is to provide writers with useful insights so that their content can be more visible, engaging, and hopefully meet their strategic needs.

While we cannot deny that someone could misuse the information we provide, for example to "stuff" keywords, we donG«÷t feel that most people will use it to game the system in that way. There are far more sophisticated and effective tools and tricks for that out there.

For far too long, writers have been left out of the content optimization process and the content has been thrown over the fence to other people who did not write the content to optimize. This generally leads to far less appealing content. Our belief is when writers can make their own decisions about which terms to use and how to use them they will strike a proper balance between creativity and optimization.

Some might say that optimization isnG«÷t important but if you consider that the size of the Google Index has trippled in the past two years, I think you can see that following some basic and non-controversial optimization best practices could mean the difference of being seen or not.

I agree,

I was looking forward to using this tool, but was sadly disappointed.

All it is, is a keyword stuffing tool, and not a very good one.

Google is wise to that tactic, so this service already seems outdated.

I'd love to see a "before" and "after" of some of your articles on The BrainYard, once InboundWriter took a crack at them. I think it's an interesting concept, but I have a feeling that it's mostly gimmicky at this stage, and possibly better suited for marketing copy than editorial sites.
