Re: Ab building exercises
It sounds like the New Year's Resolutions that go wanting after a few weeks. Everyone is gung-ho at first but then the enthusiasm fades. Until next January.

Fantastic article! I hadn't heard of most of these before. I just downloaded Sworkit and Spring. I can't wait to try them out and report back with some feedback!

Re: Ab building exercises

I am curious about whether users commit to these apps long term. I recently read that more than half of the fitness trackers are sitting in a drawer within six months of purchase. They are a novelty at first but then users tire of them. Do these apps experience the same type of novelty effect or do they change behavior for the long term?

Re: Ab building exercises
Sounds like a cool app - glad it worked for you! I think mobile apps are worth a try for people looking for new ways to stay in shape, but part of the problem is motivation. It's easy to skip a workout and ignore your phone if you're feeling lazy. If you skip a training session, though, you're likely paying for the time wasted -- and no trainer will let you slack off on a workout even if you do drag yourself to the gym.

Pact and spring are two apps I would love to checkout. The idea behind pact is really great and I power walk a lot in the morning so spring is a perfect app for me to be listening to music and walking.

Ab building exercises
Recently I started browsing health apps on Google play and downloaded a really good ab trainer app called Caynax A6W which is a six week long schedule. I have seen good results as I slimmed down by an inch in 4 weeks. Makes me think that people would lose interest in gyms and paying personal trainers if they can download apps that cost so less.
