Re: whats next after HR
@Nasimson: I agree. This is indeed a big development and this would pretty much cover the entire value chain. The integration of the HR module with the existing ones will help them link employee performance with the compensation and would also provide rich analytics in this area.

whats next after HR
This is a very strategic move. For the companies who were using SalesFroce.com, their field forces were LARGE, often the biggest departments in the company. Now it makes perfect sense that the same sales employees use the same interface to deal with HR processes too. Non-sales departments (with fewer personnel in number) would adopt to this new interface.

I wonder whats next after HR on SalesForce agenda!

Re: Internal Customers
@shamika? What do you mean by internal customers? I already know a new project when developed passes through testing department and then passes through the normal employees for feedback behind that particular product.

Re: EEC
Yes but without hands on and case files (including video documentation) HR practices and policy sharing wouldn't be too effective.

Re: EEC
Sharing the relevant HR practices and policies is a good idea. It helps the employees to understand them better, At the same time it will reduce more time for HR team to deal with more strategic HR concepts.

EEC
"Salesforce for HR is aimed at improving employee involvement and lowering the new employee turnover rate." We have something similar. It's called the Employee Engagement Committee who increases the engagement of the employees through various activities.

Internal Customers
This is an interesting article. In my opinion I think it's always better to manage both internal and external customer relationship. Internal customers would be the first contact point.
