Re: Armed and ready to shop.
[email protected], I sometimes wonder whether Blackberry made a leap backward or the stride taken by Android and Apple is too long for Blackberry to catch up. Now even the corporate world is adapting to Android and Apple which is the same community that gave recognition to Blackberry. Haven't seen users who are individuals buying Blackberry.

Re: Armed and ready to shop.
I did not get smartphone but got an iPad Air with very good deal. But the unfortunate thing is that, it supports just WiFi + 3G cellular, the latest 4G LTE is not supported. Buying a new phone or tablet is not an easy decision - money is just one factor. Another thing to prepare is backing-up + restoring the data to new phone/tablet.

Great points. Waiting to see if I can get a good price for Nexus 6. Blackberry deal sounds good but when you have your eye on Android Lollipop it isn't much appealing.

PaulS681, ok. Then there is no option but to be patient when visiting retail stores. I wonder how the economics works. In case of more demand, price should not be decreased. That is what the academics say.

Re: Armed and ready to shop.
tzubair, true. Secondly the hype of Black Friday is too tempting for the customers to buy something on this day. Furthermore, retailers looking to maximize revenue on Black Friday will try not to let customers wait till Monday and execute purchases.

Re: Armed and ready to shop.
It doesn't work that way... Black friday is a day they have special deals on in store item only. You have to go to the store and they are all swamped.

Re: Armed and ready to shop.
PaulS681, if this is the case then retailers must work to route some of their customers through online mediums. No customer should go to the competitor because of this reason.

Re: Armed and ready to shop.
Pedro, apps might be a good way to shop online but people often hangout on such occassions and retailers ensure that they pay cash and buy on spot rather than going back home and research further and buy online.
