I don't think anyone likes to feel watched it is equivalent to electronic micromanagement, however wearable's are here and I feel they will only evolve over the coming years. The technology will become more integrated and voice commands will be the norm for interacting with wearables. As so many work forces become telecommuting heavy, the wearable will become an employee efficiency and management device. Many of the wearables today lack enough integration with apps to make them useful in the long term but the next generation will address this issue.

That makes it sound like wearables are a form of electronic leash for managing employees. That doesn't do much to make wearables more appealing.
