Re: CARACAS scares me...
Automation without human oversight is alarming, because you know the AI will make mistakes. At least initially, it looks like the Navy will be using these robo-boats for herding vessels that aren't cooperating and for blockades.

But when these get deployed with guns, it's fair to ask whether it becomes easier to shoot when the controller is safe on a radio room on an nearby carrier rather than in the boat facing a Somali pirate.
