Re: Google Now

I am not too excited about this trend of software trying to anticipate your every whim.   I don't even know what I want half of the time - how is software supposed to anticipate this ?

Just one more product I won't be using from MS.

Re: Google Now
Microsoft's really been talking this one up to all of its key audiences. Consumer awareness probably isn't that high, but on the enterprise side, it seems like Microsoft expects to prove a point with Delve. We'll see. Similarities to Google Now aside, this sounds like a really useful addition to Office 365.

Re: Google Now
It does sound a bit like Google Now. I think that Microsoft needs this badly. I have never been a huge fan of the way the company organizes information, especially its SharePoint product. The ability to find information has always been like a black box on SharePoint, so it's time to see some innovation there.

Microsoft is feeling the pressure from Google – that's the impetus for this.

Google Now
So Delve sounds a lot like Microsoft's take on Google Now.
