Re: Actually useful
It is without a doubt that Facebook is the trending thing at the moment. Many people have adapted to using Facebook for basically everything. People go to nit to look for their lost friends or schoolmates; it is also good for marketing strategies. Facebook usually provides a wide scope of activities for a person top do when they re there. The save button will come in handy as it will help the users to be able to save their data for further use or to be used later.

Re: Actually useful
It took them a long time, but I'm glad they've finally rolled it out. Eventually I see a lot more sites following suit, so at this point, it's just a matter of time.

Re: Actually useful
Paul, zing! Good point. Although you do have to give credit where it's due. Maybe Facebook's people felt like it was time to give back to the community somehow, lol.

Same here, it's nice to see that Facebook can get it right once in a while. This is a very useful feature and it has been a long time coming.

Re: Actually useful
wow, facebook actually saving data for the user to use... imagine that.

I guess they were to busy saving data for their own gain to think about this earlier.

Re: Actually useful
@Ariella, I'm surprised it's taken this long for G+ (and Facebook for that matter) to launch a bookmarking tool. I hope that Paper adopts it too -- I can't imagine it won't, eventually.

I'm in the same boat, Shane. I follow a number of publications for news and other hobbies, and often don't have time to read longer stories during the day. I'm looking forward to using this.

Re: Actually useful
@Shane some one on G+ bemoaned the fact that we don't have that feature there. There are ways to bookmark, though you have to get a bit creative. The simplest thing is to just share it with yourself and no one else. I don't think you have to actually set up a specific circle unless you want your saves categorized in some way.  You can either rely on the automatic hashtags or set up a unique one that would work.

Re: Content worth saving
Let's be honest...facebook is just a way to kill time because you don't have anything better to do anyway.

Close your FB account, turn off the TV and ...you know....maybe call your "friends" up and go out to dinner.
