re: Apple Capitalizes On Doctors' iPad Romance
It's all about the apps, isn't it? Adoption will take off when native apps from McKesson, Cerner, Epic and others are available instead of using Windows apps (designed for keyboard and mouse, not touch) through remote display technology like Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop. But, will these vendors embrace multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Windows) or will they attempt to use HTML5 to be platform-agnostic?

This article is great, from the headline on down. The stealth campaign, the app room in iTunes, and the fact that the iPad wasn't designed for healthcare but now has so many converts. It just proves that if you have a great technology or product or innovation, people will decide what they like. First Canada, then the world.
