@ readers: how concerned should Microsoft be at this point about the adoption of Windows Mobile/Windows Phone?

I love my WP7 and all the Droid/iPhone users i show it to like it's layout and how smooth it is in and between apps. I think part of what is slowing down the migration to WP7 is Verizon only has 1 phone to choose from. I'm not sure if they are ticked at Microsoft or they are just sitting on their hands. Either way they are losing money because I know of people just waiting for them to come out with some diffrent WP7 models.

The information is skewed because the 3rd quarter everyone was waiting for the mango update and the new windows phones. I just got my HTC Titan last week and it rocks!

Looks like this is the US market. I also read this, on Information Week, http://www.informationweek.com...

The population in these two markets is drastically different: USA (309M) vs. World (6790M).
