Keane Partners With IBM To Offer Java Services
IBM and IT consulting firm Keane Inc. today unveiled a partnership under which Keane will begin offering integration services using IBM's Java-based SanFrancisco technology.
Keane consultants will use SanFrancisco, a set of reusable Java components, for building or modifying E-business applications. A key part of IBM's Application Framework for E-business, SanFrancisco enables developers to assemble server-side applications from existing components, rather than building them from the ground up.
With the technology, cross-platform applications can be built once and run on a variety of servers, including Windows NT, OS/400, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, and Reliant Unix.
