Jitterbit Does Effective Integration

In the wake of light weight solutions, legacy software, scalable applications and hosted options cropping up left, right and center, it's natural for a company to feel scattered and overwhelmed. With data distributed across multiple systems, integration can often seem impossible.Luckily there are services out there to help. I spoke with the guys at Jitterbit at Dreamforce '08 about their business and their quest to overcome integration challenges.Instead of relying on IT to resolve the headaches caused by multiple systems, Jitterbit puts power in the hands of those on the business side. Business users are typically the ones on the front lines grappling with the shortcomings of business processes and are best equipped to streamline them, despite their lack of technical background. By leveraging Open Source integration software, Jitterbit enables an organization to unite previously independently running legacy, enterprise and on-demand applications making that company more streamline and agile. And in turn, more productive. They've coupled their platform with customized and professional services , support and training to execute their solutions, so there's no need to spend money on costly engineers. For those SMBs and large enterprises moving from investigation of enterprise 2.0 tools to the adoption phase, the issue of remaining legacy systems poses new hurdles and questions. Jitterbit has postioned themselves nicely to provide an answer to overcoming this obstacle with affordable, easy and effective integration solutions.
