Corillian Corp., a provider of E-finance software, and Air2Web Inc., a wireless platform provider, signed an agreement Tuesday to integrate Air2Web's Mobile Internet Platform with Corillian's Voyager SE Internet banking platform. The combined product would allow customers of financial institutions to transfer funds between accounts, check account balances, and review transaction histories via Internet-enabled cell phones and personal data devices.

The Golden 1 Credit Union, which recently adopted Voyager SE, will begin using the integrated offering in October. The combined Corillian and Air2Web product will be generally available by December, with pricing still to be determined.

In a separate announcement Monday, the Delta Credit Union in Atlanta said it will link its Symitar financial system from Jack Henry Associates to Air2Web's Mobile Internet Platform, which will enable it to provide its 165,000 members with mobile access to financial services. Delta Credit Union's members are former and current Delta Airlines employees who travel regularly, which makes mobile access essential, says Mary Olson, VP of marketing for Delta Credit Union.

A computer can't always be carried while traveling because it's too cumbersome, says Olson. "What we're looking for is to give our members another way to access their accounts," she adds. "It works very similarly to home banking. The wireless access is integrated with our home-banking product."
