I agree with you completely. A one time data breach with a retailer is forgiveable (maybe), but if it happens more than once I will definitely take my business elsewhere!

Why not? If you get hacked more than once it's a pretty good sign you don't have your act together. If Target lets another breach like that happen again, you ever shopping with plastic there again?

Hopefully you do realize Stacy was kidding. But I'm not, if you are in big retail it's two strikes and you're out. Permanently.

@StacyE- I don't think companies should measure their performance by counting how often they are hacked.

Wow, it would be a really sad day if companies began to measure their success by how often they are hacked...or when they begin to wonder what they are doing that makes them NOT get hacked when "everyone else is doing it".....LOL
