Outright.com announced Tuesday that its free Outright financial management service is now available as a Google App, enabling users to access their financial information from within Gmail.

Outright.com provides online financial management services, which include accounts payable and receivable bookkeeping, invoice tracking, and W9/1099 tracking. Outright.com features include retrieving transaction history from online financial services, such as income and expense data from bank accounts, credit cards, PayPal, and from online invoicing applications like Freshbooks and Harvest.

"The majority of our customers are sole proprietors, but we also do have a number of SMBs with tens to hundreds of employees as users," said Kevin Reeth, co-founder and CEO at Outright.com. "And many bookkeepers use Outright to service their SMB and SOHO clients." Typical sole proprietors -- which can also be single-member LLCs -- include consultants and freelancers, like web professionals, realtors, artists, and online sellers.

The new GoogleApp lets an Outright user access Outright as a Google App from within a Gmail message. For example, according to Outright, when an authorized small business user views a customer's email in Gmail, he will be able to see that customer's payment history.

Several new Outright.com features are available only through the Google Apps tool, including the ability to see customer and vendor payment history directly in Gmail; having all outstanding invoices appear on your Google Calendar; and seeing tax deadlines and amounts due on Google Calendar.

Eric Sikola, owner and CEO of ExpenseCloud, said, "We run our eight-person business on Google, and I've been an Outright customer for over a year and a half. I tried the new Outright GoogleApp today, and it makes using Outright even easier."

On the Reviews section of the Google Apps Marketplace listing for Outright, another user commented, "With Google Apps integration I can see customer payment history in my email along with having all of my important tax dates in my cal[endar]."

The Outright Google App is available now, through Google Apps Marketplace. Outright.com and the GoogleApps version are both free; however, Outright notes, "In very few cases, your financial institution may charge you a fee for downloading transactions into Outright."

Outright also offers related for-free services, such as 1099 filing.
