Users of the Research In Motion BlackBerry wireless device can now receive more than E-mail. Software from itrezzo Inc. makes it possible to access company address lists, read file attachments, and access HTML Web pages.

The itrezzoAgent is a server-based system that converts Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other file attachments sent to the user's BlackBerry via E-mail. Web sites also can be accessed by forwarding a message with imbedded HTTP addresses, which the agent returns to the user as text. ItrezzoAgent and itrezzo's integrated messaging service will soon support other wireless devices, according to the company. The BlackBerry-enabled edition is available now.
