Have you got your feet wet with Microsoft's new operating system? If you're like me, you don't have it at work, but you've been spending an untoward amount of time with it on your home PC. That's where I came up with my Top 5 Windows Vista Tips To Personalize Your PC.The article is the first in a regular series of hints and suggestions on how to tune your set-up. Today, we've tackled how turn on the seductively amusing DreamScene feature, how to turn off user account control notifications, and how to give a user-interface face-lift to Firefox. (Don't want to slog through the article? The jump straight to the image gallery, here.)

In the coming weeks, I'll be joined by our rotating cast of experts, including David DeJean, Nelson Ruest and Danielle Ruest, and Serdar Yegulalp.

But enough about me, and us. What have you found out in your Vista travels? If you have any specific tips, we'd love to hear from you. Post them below or email them to me directly. We'll look at the most interesting ones in more depth, and share them with you. (No prizes, though; just thanks from a greatful user community.)
