It's time to make a New Year's resolution you're going to keep. In 2002, BreakAway hopes to hold readers to their word by checking back quarterly to see how they're faring and reporting on how some are doing. E-mail [email protected] with your resolution by Jan. 11--if you haven't already broken yours.

At the beginning of 2003, we'll award an InformationWeek goody to someone who has kept his or her resolution all year.

Obviously, the contest is based on the honor system.

Keeping your resolution will keep you off this list of broken promises:

"No new taxes." Bill's vow to Hillary. The computer industry's "paperless office."
