Change RIM PlayBook's Default Search Engine
Here's how to change the default Bing search engine on your RIM PlayBook.

When you open the browser on your PlayBook, you'll notice the default search engine is set to Microsoft Bing. If you want to change to Google follow these simple instructions.
Launch the web browser, then swipe your finger from the top bezel down. Then tap on Options.
Under General Options, tap the Search Engine dropdown and change it to Google, Yahoo or AOL. Then just close out of the Options screen and your new search engine will take effect.
