Welcome To Interop Las Vegas Day One!

Interop Las Vegas kicks off with a day of in-depth workshops on security, IT leadership, mobility, and more.

Welcome to the first day of Interop Las Vegas 2015! We’ve got a great week of learning, sharing, and fun! IT pros have arrived from across the United States and all over the globe, and we’re excited to have you join us.

If you haven’t already, please download the Interop Mobile App. It has the complete conference schedule, exhibitor and speaker details, and social tools to help you connect with attendees and exhibitors.

Registration and check-in opens at 7:00 am on Level 2 in the Mandalay Bay Foyer. Breakfast is available starting at 7:30 in the Conference Club, Lagoon J.

Workshops kick off at 8:30 am sharp, including the IT Leadership Summit, 11 Things You Can Do When You Get Back to the Office to Improve Network Performance, The Mobile-Friendly Enterprise, and Go Hack Yourself: Offensive Security Tools for Enterprise Defenders. See the full workshop schedule to investigate all your options.

New this year are Interop Roundtables. These small-group sessions, hosted by subject-matter experts, are designed to facilitate conversations around key topics and let you share your expertise with peers.

Monday’s roundtables include discussions on DevOps, hacktivism, mobile app development, and IT burnout. Roundtables run from 12:15 to 1:00 pm and include lunch. Roundtable attendance requires registration.

Please join us this afternoon from 4:30 to 5:30 pm for the Workshop Reception at the Conference Club, Lagoon J, where you can unwind with drinks and snacks and connect with fellow attendees.

Finally, Interop is pleased to host a matching event with NPower/The Community Corps, in which IT pros will be paired up with nonprofit organizations to provide technical consultation and advice. This event runs from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, and registration is required.

Have a great first day in Las Vegas! If you have questions or comments, please contact me at [email protected] or look me up on the mobile app.
