re: Do Clinicians Need Their Own DWI Rule?
I've heard of so many accidents with people texting and even witnessed one. Texting takes your eyes off the road. Not good. But talking on a headset while driving, how is that different than talking with a person riding in the car with you? Talking on a headset during surgery just seems truly clueless.
People seem to text all the time in situations I never would have thought acceptable. These examples in this article only reinfornce that people are really addicted to their smartphones. Just like everything, something really good is only good in moderation or when you can control it rather than it controlling you.
