Re: Love it!
We've seen a fair bit of this kind of activity in healthcare. Below is a link to another such model, driven out of St. Joseph Healthcare in southern California, where a group of nonprofit providers set up a fund to drive this kind of commercialization of innovation:

Re: Love it!
They take medical ideas from anyone, but do they take any OTHER ideas?  I have an idea that COULD be classed as SORT OF medical, and it certainly could be useful in some hospital rooms.  Yes, as I think about it, it could be QUTE useful in some situations.  I do not have that one patented, yet, but I have other patents that have nothing to do with medicine.  Could they help with THOSE?

Love it!
This is an idea that could and should be adopted by almost any sort of company. It's a huge win/win - employees get help navigating the complex patent and bring-to-market process plus visibility in their company, the employer gets a low-cost and potentially high-reward bennie for workers and a way to spot truly creative people in the ranks.
